See 'CentOS 6'

Aa far as I'm aware openvpn works.

Affa? This is open source. So what are you doing to fix it?

https://forums.contribs.org/index.php/topic,54588.0.html

Those very few who do develop here are all volunteers. We don't paid. We do it in our spare time.

If people helped more instead of complaining we'd have more done.

1. Read the Manual
2. Read the Wiki
3. Don't ask for support on Unsupported versions of software
4. I have a job, wife, and kids and do this in my spare time. If you want something fixed, please help.

for the same reason other Red Hat 6/CentOS 6 based distros have done

While SME 10 is far away from being usable productive ?

I dont use affa so cant comment, smeserver-openvpn working fine for me, all three variants in contribs, smeserver-openvpn-bridge  smeserver-openvpn-routed smeserver-openvpn-s2s

Nextcloud, shared-folders, fail2ban, ddclient and others all on my sme10 server

i was happyly using SME for years, but now its not possible to switch to SME10

No issues here, many others have done so without a problem. you do need to take heed of whats been posted here re migrating from sme9.

I'm a happy user of SME 10, acting as mail server, web server, Koozali mirror, and mail list server. SME 10 is indeed usable.
