Can't access index.php
« on: June 25, 2020, 10:46:21 AM »
I am ashamed to ask, but one whole day searches - no result...:-(

My old html only WEB site worked fine with SME9 while sitting in the /home/e-smith/files/ibays/web/html directory.
Now, I have the new site design using PHP. I copied it into "test" directory /home/e-smith/files/ibays/web/html/test.
Attempt to access it produce errors in /var/log/http/error_log:
client denied by server configuration: /home/e-smith/files/ibays/web/html/test/index.php
Moving the PHP to /home/e-smith/files/ibays/web/html/ also does not help.

I understand that this is something trivial, but I didn't find any instructions how to overcome this.
Many many thanks for a help.

Not very easy to tell with the information provided.

Check file permissions?

To update all the file and dir permission you can run this:

Code: [Select]
signal-event ibay-modify web
You can also do it from the server manager.

Just Click Modify, check the settings are correct, and then Save.

Do you have this set to enabled?

Execution of dynamic content (CGI, PHP, SSI)
