Title: Samba mount with correct handling of 8-bit characters...
Post by: Erika on June 30, 2004, 12:48:12 PM
Hi,

I meet a problem in mounting a Windows share with samba, when dealing with filenames containing 8-bit characters (ASCII > 127), from a SME Server 6 (client) to a W2K server (server).

I tried to test the iocharset option of smbmount, but it doesn't change anything.

Had anyone the same problem ? Is it a Samba bug ?

Thx in advance for your help,

Erika
