Topic: Trouble with Intel LAN card

Has anyone else had problems with the Intel Etherexpress Pro LAN card ?

Using the eepro100 driver.

I have a server that periodically bombs off the network and is innaccesible from the
LAN.

The server is still up and running, but using consolesyslog the alt-f6 screen
repeatedly scrolls the followng :

card reports no rxbuffers
report no resources


Any ideas ?

I have problems with one in an HP E60 that is not detected from time to time during boot, which requires a reboot. But I never have problems with it once it is up and running.

I'm running a pair of them with no troubles whatsoever.
