changing console/login option

changing console/login option

At the tail end of the E-Smith install you have the option of leaving the console in the menu/config mode or at a login prompt.

I had set up the machine to go to the more secure login mode but I'd like to change it back to menu mode, for a period anyway.

Is there a shortcut, command, or cfg file to edit to flip between modes?

Thanks in advance, Aaron

/sbin/e-smith/config set ConsoleMode login

or,

/sbin/e-smith/config set ConsoleMode auto

Then,

/sbin/e-smith/signal-event console-save

should do the trick.

I am not sure it this is what you want but:

If you log in with user admin and the password you get the console, if you log in with user root and the password you get a command line.
