I've installed e-smith at my company, and it is using a dailup connection with the internet provider. I've noticed that sometimes the server doesn't terminate it's connection. I've watched the servers actions for a while now and I'm not sure it hangs up at night.
Has anyone had this problem?
There are no computers switched on at night in my internal network, so there is no computer seeking an internet connection so that the server has to dailup.
I've made no modifications to the e-smith server, and the date and time are correct on the server.
I use the following specifications
during office hours: medium connection time
outside: medium connection time
weekends: short connection time
Can anyone help me?
