Topic: Sluggish keyboard response

Sometimes when I log in to my server using Telnet from Windows 98, keyboard response is incredibly sluggish; sometimes taking a second to display a keypress I made. Here's the top info:

I can't work out why - any ideas?

Actually the whole server seems to have slowly ground to a halt. It was starting to take almost 30 seconds for a web page on the server to appear. Strange. Any thoughts??
