webglimpse installation

I tried installing the webglimpse search engine, and found that even though I followed the official installation guide, I couldn't start the wginstall program.

Has anyone tried it, and does anyone know if there is an RPM available for SME?

I am still a newbie with SME, so any help would be appreciated.

Had a quick look at the official install docs and I'd say theres a lot of customisation going to be needed to get it working on SME - changing install paths etc - looks a good candidate for installing onto an I-Bay as opposed to the Primary website. If by any chance you are trying to use the source versions and compile the software using the "make" commands then you'll need to download all the compilers and libraries for SME before attempting to install webglimpse. A search of the contrib areas should provide you with links and instructions for the compilers.
