Has anyone been able to setup some sort of connection bonding under SME or linux in general?? I am not talking about PPP and Multilink, I have two cable modems and would like to bond them together. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There are hardware based solutions for this available. Work on this under SME is still early stages (I think). My interest in the project was for failover, not channel bonding.

I know of the hardware available out there. I just hate spending more money for things when I could do it with what I have and have it done under linux =) I have some friends that are gonna help me on the routing. They say it can be done and one said he has before. We will be working on it, and if I get it running I will be sure to post about it.

There was a howto that I came across some time back while searching Google that implements a round-robin type thing across 2 WAN connections on a standard Red Hat box. Perhaps that might be a starting point for you ?
