Password expiration reminder
« on: October 18, 2021, 10:34:42 AM »
Dumb question, which contrib is responsible to send out email reminders when a user password is about to expire (talking about SME10)?
All parts should go together without forcing. You must remember that the parts you are reassembling were disassembled by you. Therefore, if you can't get them together again, there must be a reason. By all means, do not use a hammer.

Thanks!
I don't have that one installed, but aging definitely works also without it! I just got locked out...

if the latter probably the contrib does only allow you to set it easily. need to check

It's a restored backup from sme9, so probably the aging is working because it was set in the old installation, but there's nothing sending out reminders in SME10 because I did not install the passwords contrib, it was probably not available at that time.
Has it been released in the meantime?

Its in /smetest, installs OK, all there, do some testing for us and add details to the Bug that covers its migration
