Degraded array is not possible with nee anaconda.

For the absence of raid when using 2 drives can you describes the steps you took? Gui vs cli install?

10a4: When two identical disks are used without any partition, Anaconda do not build a raid1. That happened with me, according to the documentation:
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/7/html/storage_administration_guide/raidinstall

Yes tested with
1 disk on install then added a second after install
2 identical clean disks on install

no degraded or raid 1 etc.
