Webmail android
« on: July 22, 2019, 10:21:13 AM »

You should not need any extra software on your SME server to send/receive email from your mobile device.  You should be able to configure the email account using IMAP.  You might need to go into manual settings and tell it to use port 465 for SMTPS.

I wanted push notification and shared calendar and contacts on my mobile phone, so I installed Sogo (version 3) in Feb 2017.

Apple Mail and my iPhone(s) think my SME is an Exchange server (I don't have any Android devices).

The Sogo wiki page is out of date - showing version 3 as the latest, when version 4 was released in Mar 2018.  This forum post has notes on updating from Sogo3 to Sogo4 (and notes showing that I dropped the ball on updating the wiki page): https://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=53538.0

Android... K9 mail.
...
1. Read the Manual
2. Read the Wiki
3. Don't ask for support on Unsupported versions of software
4. I have a job, wife, and kids and do this in my spare time. If you want something fixed, please help.
