Hello

I have changed the hard drive everything seems normal but I am still having issues with the emails I am able to receive but not send.

Hope you are using a mirrored pair of drives and regular backups now ? :-)

Mail... need to check your logs... see notes in earlier posts.

hello

I have looked through the logs I dont see anything that stands out like huge or that started when the issues came about the only one was the hard drive error

is there anything you can say if you get an error like this or look for errors with other wise im stuck

The emails send from queue if i disable the SMTP Authentication for Internet provider but I get a bounce saying

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at domain.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

Are you on a dynamic ADSL?
If so, use your ISP SMTP server as smarthost

I think that was the bounce after he disabled SMTP authentication to his provider which would make sense as his IP is likely blacklisted.

That also seems to indicate the issue is with sending authentication to his provider. There must be an error in one of the mail logs somewhere?

The answer is probably in:

/var/log/smtp-auth-proxy/*

Thanks for all your help I really do appreciate it I changed the dyndns to another one and mail is sending but couldn't find the reason it was blacklisted.

Went through all the spam lists and it was flagged but not for a serious reason and I cant tell if there was a spam bot on one of the PC's until I scan them all.

Do make sure you check all your PCs though.
