Salve a tutti,
volevo sapere dove trovare le informazioni sulla compatibilità di questo server "HP ProLiant DL360 G6" con SME 9.0.

Controlla la compatibilità con Redhat EL6.

Questa macchina dovrebbe andare bene.

Ok ho preso questo server:
Hewlett Packard Enterprise ProLiant MicroServer Gen10 1.6GHz X3216 200W Ultra Micro Tower server - Servers (1.6 GHz, X3216, 8 GB, DDR4-SDRAM, 200 W, Ultra Micro Tower).

Dato che da la possibilità di installare il S.O. su chiavetta usb interna, lo consigliate?
Io comunque ci metto dentro 4 hdd in raid 10 (anche perchè questo server supporta solo 1+0 o 0+1).
Lo farei per accorciare un po' i tempi di installazione.
Installo SME su chiavetta USB, backup del vecchio server, installazione dei 4 hdd nel nuovo e restore.
Questo è il piano.
Fattibile secondo voi?

Non installerei il sistema operativo su una penna USB personalmente

Ricorda le limitazioni con RAID 10. Avere una buona lettura online prima e comprendere appieno le implicazioni di un guasto del disco, o due ....

Sono richiesti buoni backup.

Ultima questione,
non riesco a capire se il processore X3216 sia a 32 o 64, quindi non so che versione di SME scaricare. A me sembra che supporti 32. Mi sbaglio?

Basta guardare nelle specifiche del server sul sito hp quali sono i sistemi operativi supportati
Per me è un 64

so che win 2012 r2 è un 64 bit, quindi penso che tu abbia ragione Stefano.
Scarico Sme 9.2 a 64 bit allora
