Production Webmail
« on: June 21, 2017, 03:46:39 PM »
I'm learning to hate using pc level email clients and want to start moving over to a server based webmail. I know I'm not going to get gmail quality from the horde package installed on 9.2, but it's lacking. I'm looking for a way to make this transition easy and provide webmail to my users in a production environment without breaking the updates and upgrades moving forward. I've looked at roundcube and was using it in a testing environment for a little while about a year ago, but haven't done anything since.

Can anyone advise the webmail package they are using in a production environment? I'm looking for something that provides a clean interface, contact synching, maybe calendar and fits into the ecosystem of Koozali. I've got 70 users and they keep every single email they have ever received or sent.

Thanks in advance for the recommendations.

Regards,
Devlin

I believe you can upgrade to a newer version of Horde

https://wiki.contribs.org/Horde5
...
1. Read the Manual
2. Read the Wiki
3. Don't ask for support on Unsupported versions of software
4. I have a job, wife, and kids and do this in my spare time. If you want something fixed, please help.

I saw that one but I was worried about the for testing purposes only. I'll give it a shot. Thank you.
