Update:

in the output of

# qpsmtpd-print-dns

the DKIM key might be seperated with quotes (''). For STRATO all quotes have to be deleted. It MUST be only one string. This leads to a valid DKIM signature.

I think there may be a bug on this subject.

Have a search for dkim in the bug tracker.
...
1. Read the Manual
2. Read the Wiki
3. Don't ask for support on Unsupported versions of software
4. I have a job, wife, and kids and do this in my spare time. If you want something fixed, please help.

The bug is about reducing the default key size to 1024, so that quotes are not needed at all (with which I do not agree, but that's another story ;-) ). qpsmtpd-print-dns outputs a bind compatible format, which requires the quotes every 256 chars.
C'est la fin du monde !!!

Understood.

But how to deal with this:

2. Test with auth-results@verifier.port25.com brings up:

DKIM check details:
----------------------------------------------------------
Result:         permerror (invalid key: invalid character U+0022 ('"') in base64 data)
