Problem installing zarafa on SME 9.2RC
« on: March 31, 2017, 06:44:05 PM »
I have successfully completed the basic install but got the following trying to install smeserver-zarafa-unix:

[root@potting-shed zcp-7.2.5.109-rhel-6-x86_64-opensource]# config setprop zarafa-licensed status disabled
[root@potting-shed zcp-7.2.5.109-rhel-6-x86_64-opensource]# yum install smeserver-zarafa-unix --enablerepo=smecontribs
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, smeserver

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
[root@potting-shed zcp-7.2.5.109-rhel-6-x86_64-opensource]#

This is a test server with only letsencrypt installed (and working).

Any clues why?

Thanks,
...

Looking at the zarafa rpm, latest version of 7.2 does not have webaccess in it,.

Version 7.2.1-51838 does and seems to be the last to do so

7.2 Changelog -  ZCP-13850   zarafa-webaccess no longer starts because of missing php5-gettext

All Version 7.1 do..

Hi,

You can install the 7.1 webaccess package manually.
I have a 9.1 server running zarafa version 7.2.4, installation is a bit complicated.
Because of php version things, because some binaries have moved which require templates adjustments,
because the zarafa processes are no longer run by root but by a dedicated user, there are new processes (indexing), because the zarafa config files  in smeserver-zarafa-unix are version 7.1.

could you create/ask for a wiki access and amend the wiki page with your findings?

BTW, for the ones interested in Zarafa, there's a full OOSS fork available at https://www.kopano.io/
