Why would you? It seems that releasing contribs to the offcial repo is in the wild and without any Q&A.
You are taking my comment out of context. I was referring to a later version of the script than the one that Dan and I currently use that has some additional functionality. I was merely wondering if anyone had any comments regarding the newer version of the script.
My stuff is in my own repo. This is an RPM for JUST the script, nothing else. If you installed it absolutely nothing would happen. Both Dan and I have basically identical versions. We are just putting it one place for later use. Which makes more sense than separate repos.
My contrib is a separate entity that has a 'depends' on the script. Daniels own contrib is the same. The idea is that for Koozali SME v9 you would use a contrib to generate certificates, but in v10 it will be built into the system itself.
It will all need testing, in the fullness of time
Docs will get done as well, but I have a trip to the UK to do this week and haven't got the time. In any event the docs for the basic script are at the dehydrated repo here if anyone wants to see:
