Topic: Upgrading from 8.2 to 9.1

Hi all. Somewhat green when it comes to SME and I'm trying to migrate from 8.2 to 9.1. We use it strictly as a mail server. Did a backup with AFFA and it's on a 3TB USB drive. Going through the steps to do a full restore (https://wiki.contribs.org/Affa#tab=For_SME9) and when I try to run the command, I get "Error: Job 'backup-smeserver' undefined. I have a fresh install of 9.1 on a workstation. Followed all the step to install. Am I missing something? I apologize if I'm being too vague, but if there's anymore information I need to provide, I will to the best of my knowledge. Thanks in advance!

Job "bakup-smeserver" undefined usually means there is a mismatch between the name of the job and the name you typed.

Check the spelling with what is in the AFFA config file.

In /etc/affa, check that your script is named "server-backup.conf"
Check that the first line in the script is [server-backup]

A common source of confusion is when using _ (underscore) in stead of - (hyphen) or nothing at all:
eg backup_server or backup-server or backupserver

Or perhaps even a different name altogether.
