slow resync, drives detected as hda instead of sda
« on: July 14, 2015, 12:09:32 AM »
Just replaced a mother board and am watching a 2400 minute resync!

I remember a thread suggesting configuration changes that solved this issue, but various key word searches are failing to find it.   Does anyone remember  or have any suggestions?

Thx

Upgrading to SME9 might also be helpful; using old software with new hardware can sometimes result in sub-optimal performance.

I had a similar issue a long time ago, see if this article can give you any hint (it worked for me)

All parts should go together without forcing. You must remember that the parts you are reassembling were disassembled by you. Therefore, if you can't get them together again, there must be a reason. By all means, do not use a hammer.
