You need a full updated SME9 without the bug of 'warning: group apache does not exist - using root'

else you will have to correct the good ownership on /etc/roundcubemail : chown root:www -R /etc/roundcubemail

ok, I got it installed now! strange that Yum does not give an error if you enable a repo that is not in the DB.

I can't reboot until the end of the day - is there a signal-event I can do instead?

ok, it askes me to login, then gives me a blank screen. I think maybe it DOES need a full post-update and re-boot. I'll try later on.

The blank screen is given by a hugly plugin, really sorry but in fact it was workable in february, but no more now

you don't need to reboot

you simply need to remove the 'cardddav' plugin but let here all others

Are you saying that folders are different between roundcube and horde ?

I can see two directories for sent and delete, I'll check if one of the sets is shared between horde and roundcube and let you know.  I also have other things to do today!!

Can confirm that the same Send directory is used by both Horde and Roundcube.

Delete directory does not seem to be used by horde (it is either scored out, or purged).

Junk directory in roundcube seen by horde as "junkmail".

So, everything seems fine AFAICT.

Well that should be tested but in fact roundcube is in version 0.1 or something like that for centos5 (in epel), and in version 1.0 for centos6....i worry that it won't develop new packages.

What it can be done is to follow each version like I did in the past and build our rpm directly from the tar.gz, but in fact I want to follow the remi's updates and stop to work on security/feature update.
Sme8 is now in maintenance mode, no more features and no more new rpms, the system is really too old if you look about software version

Ok I got it, we are annoyed here because you firstly installed the first version which included 'carddav' but now it is no more used. That a pity because it is the only plugin able to manage remote carddav server for roundcubemail, and I love(d) it:(

Not sure I understand this - I had installed roundcube on this server a long time ago, but it had fallen out of use (I think actually it had stopped working?). Do you want me to install on another server which has not had it installed before? I think I could safely do that  - although all my servers are in production use.

In fact this concerns only your installation since I used the plugin repository (with composer) to install 'carddav' and sometime there are issues when you want to remove it cleanly by composer, hence why I ask to remove it manually. After your test and this issue I pushed the update to my mirror.

Keep me in touch if you have an issue to remove the carddav plugin
