authentification Debian
« on: January 14, 2015, 10:51:12 PM »
Good Evening,
I would just like to know if there are people who use Debian authentication contribution to SME and meet me if it still works or not.
http://wiki.contribs.org/Client_Authentication:Debian
Because for me, it does not work when you want to use icedove in IMAP  and iceweasel.
In advance thank you.

Hi,

I think the first question is 'where does it fail' ?

Without that information I doubt anyone can help you !

Mmm......: I've got a customer with "cousin" clients (Xubuntu 12.04) and they're working fine. Some problem trying with 14.04 so i left clients to 12.04.

After "home" of SME and "ibays" OF SME are mounted, it's impossible tu use icedove (Thunderbird) ans Iceaweasel (Firefox) which are blocked (frozen).

I suppose they can't reach theirs configurations at /home//Dossier personnel/.icedove/xxxxxx.default

Did the advise from stephdl here http://forums.contribs.org/index.php/topic,51420.0.html not help a bit?

Effectively, in french, I have some responses which go out of the original contribution and my reply is to the attention of the team if this contribution is in or out of service.

Thank you

OK but you need to be a bit more specific. Have you checked the logs in the server and the workstations ?

Were their configurations already there or when were they created ?

I also note that you have been given a lot of assistance by Xavier here :

http://forums.contribs.org/index.php/topic,51420.0.html

If you are French it may be easier to discuss it further with him as he is eminently qualified to help - having two threads on the same subject is not so good either.

It would also be nice if one or the other of you could update the wiki page if you get a resolution to the issue.
