Hi,

I've searched the forum for a solution but not nothing seems fit.

I'm getting Cron emails containing:

fetchmail: another foreground fetchmail is running at 24291.
fetchmail: another foreground fetchmail is running at 24291.
fetchmail: another foreground fetchmail is running at 24291.
fetchmail: another foreground fetchmail is running at 24291.

I understand that this is triggered when a instance of fetchmail is already running. To try and isolate the reason I've deleted any old mail directly from our pop boxes and checked that no large files are trying to download. The system appears to be still delivering mail and test messages are getting through.

The Cron emails are being delivered every 10 minutes (mail collection is set  at 5 minutes - 1 primary a/c plus 3 additional a/c's)

Mail traffic is 'light', say 100 messages in the last 24 hours.

Can anyone suggest how to ID the problem, maybe which mail log file to look at ?

It turns out, not quite all.   I realised that I'd missed a pop account so cleared out any old mail and that's fixed the issue. There was nothing large but presumably there was a malformed message which was causing the issue.
