Phpvirtualbox will not start
« on: February 22, 2014, 03:32:42 PM »
I tried installing phpvirtualbox per the wiki on a new SME 8.0 sysyem fully updated.
I had also installed openvpn-bridge, phpki, and sme8admin.
When the server reboots it tells me the starting of phvirtual box failed. I tried using the kernel update for phpvirtualbox from the wiki, and it fails to start, but tells me to check the vbox-install.log, which tells me

thanks a lot for the bug but it seems that the issue is a pure virtualbox issue as i can reproduce the bug in installing virtualbox on a kernel-PAE. With all other kernel (i386 and x86_64) there is no problems.
Please see the bug report for all other details needed.

Thanks for your help. I am re-loading the server with the 64 bit edition, :-)
Bob

Worked fine with the 64 bit edition.

Thanks
