i am having a problem with one of my servers, before i go,to bugzilla can anyone think of of a quick fix. this is a server running server & gateway mode, it is new hardware that was restored about 3 months ago, this error seems to come and go. single drive.

it does the same when trying to do a full backup, one thing i have noticed the the server seems to hang up when attempting the backup, i have looked through the logs and can't identify any thing unusual,

You probably need to tell us about the desktop you are trying to back up to also.

oh sure

it is a NAS Drive Qnap, 2GB HDD

with plenty of free space.

SME is using 200GB - and i have 1.5 GB free on the NAS.

thanks

That error has been shown in the past to have been caused on some occasions by a memory fault and/or other hardware fault.  Not definitive but somthing to eliminate.

Thanks

ADATA - AD3U1333W4G9-B - 4GB

I don't think that it is this brand that was the problem as i have it in other servers, just this particular stick.

thanks
