Your logic may be somewhat flawed and, yes, I have voted.
The ones that have voted already probably really care. So the
quality of the existing cadre of votes might be 'considered'.
A smaller volume of considered votes is more appropriate than
a larger volume of random button pushing voter conscriptees?
Also some of the apparently non-voting viewers may be robots.

It is a sad reality but Sme Server has lost a lot of users and its popularity is not well too. When i see people in France who don't know anything about Sme Server, i'm wondering if we haven't missed something.
We have to make noise outside of contribs to wake up all who are sleeping and find new blood.

Well, it's apparent to me that all the contenders are not in. I submitted my own logo, and of course, I want to vote for my own. Unless there was a preelimination process, I believe a lot of people are waiting to know that nothing else will be submitted. I'm assuming you can only vote once, as I would not know because I haven't voted yet

Since Koozali means "reborn" what is more reborn than Phoenix?

i like this type of idea, the phoenix is bit too close to Mozilla, but how about keeping the SME and doing the same with a Linux Penguin instead of the phoenix

With apologies to the original designers & I do appreciate the work & effort you have put into this.

I just wanted to point out that option 2 with dots inside the o's, can look like a pair of womens boobs.
For the Foundation & community members to choose & use a design that can be misinterpreted in this way is not a good idea.
The surprising thing is that I did vote for option 2 myself.
I think the creating of this design & the fact that it has the most votes at this stage, could well be a freudian slip on the part of the designers & voters too !

I suggest/request Option 2 be removed as a contender.

I would also suggest that none of those options displayed is a really good design, & perhaps that is why there have not been very many votes.
More work is needed on better designs in my opinion.

I have made one with a world globe replacing both o's in koozali, & will upload it when I get some free time, just quite busy at present.
Also thinking along the lines of just letters
eg

and even just the letter k on a world globe
Will try to create something that looks OK for both of those too.

Interesting observation.  I suppose it is all in the eyes of the beholder.  Kind of like looking up in the sky and seeing different figures in the clouds.

In any event, unless there is an outcry to remove this option as offensive, I see no reason it shouldn't be a contender.

You, or anyone else for that matter, are free to submit design options.  These designs need to address the logo brief located here:  http://wiki.contribs.org/Koozali_Foundation_Design_Brief   Complex logo graphics simply won't work for our logo needs across all media; so things like globes, unless they are just spheres, are not acceptable design options.

So... in all honesty. What are we really looking for in a logo?
Just text? A mix of 3 and 5?
I plan on doing more concepts, but I can't seem to get good direction.
I'm no designer, but there's not a lot of input, so I may win.
Do we really want to see globes?

The logo need to be simple, we need the name with it but i thought that we have to get a picture which is our identity. As if we see the ubuntu logo or the redhat logo without their name we could recognize them. it is for that the logo n2 is so good i can see it with or without text
I have tried to work on several concept with a french graphical designer and we have also same ideas about the symbol of infinity but greg has beaten us on the line :p

the second idea we get was to get the infinity symbol with fire on logo as symbol of phenix, we could try to put 2 wings above the symbol, this could be attempted...

But a logo need before to be simple and always i return on the number 2
