No notification in rejected email

Hi All,

Need advised, I have sme 7.6 running as mail server, and using spamhaus.org
today i checked log files and i found that email from let's say ***@**.com is blacklisted because he is using wifi in internet cafe,
so i email the user and told him that your email to ***@**.com is rejected.
i asked him did you get notification that your email has been rejected, and he said no.
this the fifth time, if i'm not wrong,
i want to ask why there is no notification to user when their email is rejected.
please help me.

This isn't a problem with SME server. The rejection message should be produced by the mail server which tried to deliver the message, but wasn't able to. Either that server is not generating the rejection message, or the message has not been delivered. Your correspondent should talk to his/her email provider - or get a better one, since you say that they are listed by spamhaus.
