I'm a little confused. I have a package (jinzora3) which I'm trying to install (I currently use jinzora2). Jinzora 3 is complaing about:
PHP does not have iconv() support - cannot convert from to UTF-8
I thought php5 already had iconv built in but assuming it may not I then tried:
# yum install php-iconv

php53-common-5.3.3-13.el5_8.x86_64 from base has depsolving problems
--> php53-common conflicts with php-common
Error: php53-common conflicts with php-common
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
package-cleanup --dupes
rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
The program package-cleanup is found in the yum-utils package.
I'm loath to mess with php on sme server as I believe it is not from base but the sme server repos. I did find other stuff in the forums and bug tracker related to php-process and similar but I don't think those methods would fix this.
Any thoughts?
