I have posted this on the mailing lists - if you haven't already joined them then PLEASE do - see here for morehttp://forums.contribs.org/index.php/topic,49441.0.html. There is a lot happening at the minute and everyone needs to voice their thoughts and lend a hand with YOUR distribution !!!!

Whilst in my 'lack of sleep' induced trance, it occurred to me that quite a few schools use SME.

With the current development stuff I wondered if some of those schools might have pupils who would like to come and learn a bit about building a new system.

Now is an excellent time to be involved. We have some excellent developers who need a hand, and would undoubtedly like to see a new generation of coders and hackers climb on board.

I have had various people say to me that they are not developers, don't know what to do, would like to help but feel nervous.

I have tried to encourage them to get involved and not feel embarrassed or nervous - we all started somewhere. I'm no developer, but I'm learning LOADS.

Any thoughts or comments ????
