Topic: Dar backup failing

Dar backups stopped working about 1 week after I loaded SME8 beta 6.   Best description I have is from the email from the server.

Bareword "TERM" not allowed while "strict subs" in use at /etc/e-smith/events/actions/workstation-backup-dar line 417.
Execution of /etc/e-smith/events/actions/workstation-backup-dar aborted due to compilation errors.
Backup terminated: backup failed - status: 65280

I'm at the end of my knowledge and searches including bug tracker.

I encountered exactly the same problem while verifying another bug (http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6605#c20) this morning.

I have submitted a fix for this bug, which is only present in unreleased development packages. It will take a few hours for the package to be available on the mirrors.

Please test and verify if you can to make sure the error is actually fixed.

Found at --
yum --enablerepo=smetest update e-smith-backup

Now currently --
[root@XXXXX ~]# rpm -q e-smith-backup
e-smith-backup-2.2.0-56.el5.sme

Results --
Updating backup configuration data Backup successful -  terminated at : Thu Jul 21 06:34:00 2011
