Bug updating Trunklines
« on: January 05, 2011, 02:55:26 AM »
This seems to be a bug in SAIL.

I recently needed to re-number some of my call groups. This then meant that the trunkline definitions needed to be updated to point to the correct re-numbered call group. I went through each trunkline definition updated then saved it. When completed I did a COMMIT.

However I then had people complaining they couldn't reach me saying the phone would ring once then hang up. I tested this and sure enough it was true. Took a look at the console output and saw that when the calls were coming in they were being sent to the OLD call group numbers.

I then went to each trunkline definition and checked but they were correct. I then hit SAVE and then COMMIT for each individual Trunkline just to make double sure and it worked.

But I had to do each definition separately with a COMMIT. Even though I had saved each trunkline definition and done a number of commits the later definitions still weren't working until I got to them, edited them, saved them and did another COMMIT.

I'm running SAIL 2.6.1-9 on SME 7.5.1

I hope this makes sense to the Selintra wizards!

Cheers,

Adam

Thanks for reporting this

We'll see if we can recreate it here and then come up with a patch or a protocol for making such a change.

Kind Regards
