Topic: Missing Dependency trying to upgrade from 7.5 to 8.0b5

Hey all,

I filed a bug report for this (6125), but I thought I would follow up with a forum post to see if someone else had this issue and there is already a fix for it here.

While trying to upgrade to SME 8.0b5 from a clean version of 7.5 from the instructions on the wiki upgrade page, I am getting this error after  running this command:

yum --disablerepo=smeextras --enablerepo=smeupdates-testing upgrade
Error...

Code: [Select]

--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Missing Dependency: smeserver-locale-he is needed by package
smeserver-support
Error: Missing Dependency: smeserver-locale-zh_TW is needed by package
smeserver-support
I have also tried using this command and it yields the same results:

Code: [Select]

yum --enablerepo=smeupdates-testing upgrade

Anyone know if this is fixable or how to work around this?
