Affa SSH key trouble
« on: February 08, 2010, 02:00:58 PM »
Hello,

I'm gettin trouble with affa and mostly SSH keys.
I have a backupserver that backup perfectly some others smeserveurs, but on one serveur i cannot resolve ssh.
On that trouble one i can connect SSH and send key via affa --send-key JOB. It asks me password and so, but when i launch the JOB, no way to login, affa's logs tells me "did you sent the keys". Same with usual SSH login, it still asks me password, even after sending SSH keys.

I managed a rsync from the prodserveur to backserveur, SSH keys work perfectly that way.

Everybody's under 7.4...

Here's my veryverbose ssh connexion :

It looks to be that you have an id_rsa file which is an invalid format. How was it created?

debug1: identity file /root/.ssh/id_rsa type -1
debug2: key_type_from_name: unknown key type '-----BEGIN'
debug2: key_type_from_name: unknown key type '-----END'

/root/.ssh/id_rsa removed, still the same trouble.
it also tries to use dsa key... same result, no way to log in.

I had a similar problem (same message, different circumstances). I solved and wrote it up in the wiki here:

I've already tryed to remove keys and know_host on botn servers, but it dindn't solve problem.
I also tryed to remove SSH, but yum wants to remove tones of packages and depedencies...

is there any dpkg-reconfigure command on CENTOS distro ?
