Hi all,

We've been running a lot of benchmarks on SARK/SAIL. recently.  I just thought you might like to see this shot which is a SARK box doing a real, sustained 150 simultaneous calls (including true RTP flows in both directions)  and 20 call-per-second arrival rate.  It's pretty much on its knees but it was still handling calls and MOH without jitter, and it dropped zero calls on both this test and a later three hour extended test.  The key figure to note is the peak call number in the bottom window.  The box hit 150 simultaneous calls after 7 seconds from a standing start which means it was doing a steady 20 call routings per second during that initial phase of the benchmark.

...And all this on an $800 Pentium Core duo with half a Gig of memory.  Try doing that with free/trix/brix/elastoplast, or any other Asterisk generator (Oh... sorry you can't, because even if you strip them down to the bare minimum, they can only handle about half the call arrival rate that SARK/SAIL can for the same CPU).  Guess what we've been benchmarking against.     ;)
