Learn As Spam: move to a new server
« on: April 03, 2012, 04:41:56 PM »
I'm ready to upgrade a server from 7.5.1 to 8.0b7... but remembered I had a long time to teach server what each user thinks it's spam... now that would be lost when I migrate to server ? (It's a completly new install, just rsync data thru network!)

How I can move that info ?

Regards

According to this page, you can backup and restore your bayes data using sa-learn.

Thanks by the info... I'll try it later... but for now I'll make a backup of configs ;)
EDIT: trying to figure out what are the parameters in SME world.
So far I found this:
[root@rinoceronte gustavo]# /usr/bin/sa-learn -p /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf --dbpath XXX --siteconfigpath /etc/sysconfig/spamassassin --backup
Not sure what is the dbpath... the real spamassassin db to backup.
More about this later.
