Hi, I have noticed that the windows XP recovery console appears to behave very similarly to a unix command line. The thing that made me consider this is the fact that under the normal DOS command line, you can use the command "cd.." to change up a directory, but under the Recovery Console, this command does not work, you have to use "cd .." (note the space). This is identical to unix.
Does that mean that MS actually have to resort to using Unix to fix their dodgy software???
That would be rather funny if any one could confirm this.
Obviously, this is not an important topic requiring an immediate, or any, answer, just thought I'd point it out as I found it quite interesting, and humourous.
