Topic: FormMail not sending to external domain

I'm almost done in moving all services and users from an old 6.0.1 platform to 7.3 (which is superb - thanks guys! 

An area I have found difficult to fix is in the use of FormMail. I'm using the cgi-script "NMS FormMail Version 3.14c1" and it is very easy to set up. That said though, when I try and submit a mail using the form, the mail fails to be delievered to a remote email account.

looking at the log file I see:

I'm_not_going_to_try_again;_this_message_has_been_in_the_queue_too_long
I am able to email the recipent in question from my PC desktop application (Outlook), but not from the form.

Is there a reason why this might be happening?

I haven't got round to seening what happens on the 7.3 system yet....

Any ideas out there please?
