Limitar el ancho de banda
« on: March 26, 2007, 11:50:55 PM »

Muchas gracias

Sorry for answering in  english, but I'm better at ease with that language. You have a contribs which don't fit completely your need http://wiki.contribs.org/Qos, but the purpose is to do 'quality of service' on your network

The idea is limit some station to one lower speed, with QOS you only give priority to some port and some ip, is correct?

You have some hints here, in spanish yes :) http://www.alcancelibre.org/staticpages/index.php/como-cbq
It seems that you can install the package iproute on centos which provide a rpm with initscripts for cbq, so that can be easily integrated to sme9 or sme8 if you take care about the rc7.d, see http://wiki.contribs.org/Add_a_custom_service

Of course you have to be in server&gateway mode.

EDIT : If you can have it workable you should do a wiki page for explaining to other how it works
