Webmail and SPAM detection
« on: March 02, 2007, 11:20:37 AM »
I and a couple of my users rely on webmail from time to time and I've noticed that emails sent using webmail are sometimes trapped as spam. On investigation I've noticed that Horde includes the IP address of the remote connection to the webmail server in the email headers, and this appears to be tripping the SPAM detection.

Unfortunately when one is travelling it is not always possible to check or know in advance that the IP address from which you're connecting is not listed in any of the dynamic block lists.

Does anyone know of a way to work around this? Perhaps there is a configuration option in Horde to stop it from including the IP address from which the webmail connection was made in the email headers?

TIA
David.
