yum install smeserver-mailsorting --enablerepo=smecontribs
db configuration setprop qmail FilterType procmail
signal-event mailsorting-conf

please, remove it, and try again.. if you use globalforward you can set global rules in zarafa (via webmail)

 Subject:
  Folder: /home/e-smith/files/users/lmarco/Maildir/new/1272587106.1932     1549
 Subject: 111111111111111111111111111111111
  Folder: /home/e-smith/files/users/lmarco/Maildir/new/1272587371.2000     1615

marco, I repeat: you don't need procmail, so remove it.
it's moving mails into maildir, so zarafa can't work properly

Solved!!!!

from old release of zarafa there are some difference
On my test I've used unix db, in this case with command
zarafa-admin -l (show users)
zarafa-admin -L (show groups)
there are user and group with the same name,

If you have a groupname "user"  AND  a username "user"  then you will not be
able to deliver on username "user" because the dagent finds 2 entries with
"user"  a group and a user.
I've changed the min_group_gid  value so zarafa won't detect the group user.

editing the file
/etc/zarafa/unix.cfg
from
min_group_gid = 5000
to
min_group_gid = 9000

Now smeserver-zarafa it should work with qmail...

Hi Marco :-)

It was the same problem i encountered when trying to update from versione 6.30.4 to 6.30.13. I was using UINIX plugin too, but searching in zarafa forum and also here i founded several posts with same problem, unix plugin make a dirty configuration with sme server, better is db plugin, you create users in sme first then in zarafa too and only the users you need, no groups with same name or crappy things... waiting for ldap functions maybe in sme 8.

Had to uninstall the old corrupted version and install a fresh copy of zarafa.

Now i use 6.40.0 with db plugin and all seems working, send, receive, z-push, outlook client tested and ok.

G.

Hi Marco

I've just tested yuor solution and it works, even if the mail has a group as recipient

I hope you did not edit the unix.cfg file in /etc/zarafa/ dir, because it's templated and your changes will be lost as soon as you upgrade smeserver-zarafa
