Hi.

There are many applications for radio amateurs, Aprs Packet radio access, that require
only 2 modules to be compiled, the sme 7 don’t have them, there are:

Ax25  and  Mkiss

Please, I make a mark on the compiling options on the next upgrade then will be no need
To compile to get this to work, remember that is very difficult for us the non programmers
to get this done.

Thanks on advance.

Is it the ability to compile modules that you want or the acual AX25 and MKIS packages you want including ?

If its the latter, I would suggest that is outside the scope of this project. They are highly specialised communication protocols and you wont find them in any Windows Server Package, Clark Connect or Netware.

Hi Peter

When you make a new kernel compilation there a bunch off modules that can be
Integrated with the compilation, I am not talking about windows programs ……

These are the ones that y wish to have compiled as modules

Mkiss & Ax25

Thanks on advance

The SMEServer developers at this time do no not recompile the kernel. It is the same kernel that Centos uses.
