CentOS yum repository dynamic mirror-list/fall-over mngmnt

I just found this post about the CentOS yum configuration. Will this CentOS feature also be implemented for the download mirrors for SME Servers?

I casted a vote as well ... right now with the problems ibiblio is having this would have stopped a lot of unnecessary questions on contribs.

The yum-plugin-protectbase might be nice to use at the same time, so the base repos doesn't get overridden
