Groupware ?

Hi all

I've been dabbling in this groupware topic some

I've look at the web/webapps in the how/to's
http://no.longer.valid/phpwiki/index.php/SME7Howtos

Conflux and Groupware catch my attention, however since horde mail is already on SME server I had interest in the horde suite, but really know nothing about it

I look foward to further developement and discussion on this topic.

Where can I see a demo of a horde suite in action ?
Nice topic here

You are going to need to set up a test server to see the suite in action.  I don't know of anyone that has set up a publically accessible horde demo site.  The horde folks did have a demo site setup, but it has been taken down due to the amount of time they were spending supporting it.

Thanks for the info

I would like toy with it.

I guess I'm wondering a few things ?
I've asked this in another post also

If you install the Horde suite rpm, then how do you login ?
Does it just become part of the SME and login like webmail or something ?

Please advise
Thanks

Horde is the webmail framework.  When you login to webmail, you are logging into horde.

Horde - Framework
imp - mail
turba - address book
ingo - filters
kronolith - calendar
nag - tasks
mnemo - notes
mimp - mobile mail
gollem - file manager
trean - bookmark manager

Horde Suite ?

I do not appear to have these options on my current install of SME 7

I have horde webmail of course, and address book, but none of the other items you've listed

Is this what I will get with the new Horde RPM that people have posted in testing mode?

Please advise
Thanks

By default on a SME 7 install, you have, horde, imp, ingo, turba.  If you look at the link I posted in this thread to the horde 3.1 rpm's, then you will see that the answer to your question will be yes.
