Topic: Contribs causing problems with 7.1

Hi !

Since 7.1 iso is available, I've burned it and installed it on 2 SME 7.1 test servers.

I had a lot of problems with updates causing strange errors (perl causing use of uninitialized value). I searched the bug tracker with no luck.

I'm using a script to install a lot of contribs (because my 2 tests servers are oftenly reinstalled).
Using this script with 7.0 with no errors but now I have a lot of errors after updating my fresh 7.1 tests servers.

Because I use a lot of contribs, it has been a really hard work for me to find what was causing troubles. I've managed to install one by one each contribs with each time a post-upgrade and a reboot.
Each time, I parsed "message log" to search for errors...

So, here is a list of contribs causing problems in logs after a reboot :

Doing a yum update after installing one of these listed rpms (of course if updates are available) cause also such errors appearing on the screen

I really don't know why these rpms cause errors because all of them seem to work ! Maybe a missing perl rpm ? Or each rpm need an update to fit SME 7.1 ?

This has been discused.
It happens because of server-manager pannel or something like that (someone tryed to explain to me   ). I have the same errors and they are supposed to be normal. My sme works just fine and i had theese errors in sme 7 and sme 7.1

I saw it mentioned in passing in the bug tracker that its to do with incomplete translations of contrib server panels.

I wouldn't call a page of errors normal. Harmless maybe.

And why are they causing trouble with yum now on 7.1 and not on 7.0 before ? Strange isn't it ?

No. Mine is in English and I have these problems.

Have to go through the bug tracker to see what changes were made.

Bug 2185 is where it got reported to the Bug Tracker.

They are cosmetic warnings
but warnings hide errors so it would be better if it was fixed
