How to add local groups that cannot receive external emails
« on: February 11, 2006, 12:28:11 PM »
Hi,

I would like to have some groups (which always is a email alias as well) that can only be used for internal emails. Basically if someone from the outside world send to this group it should be bounced and if sent from inside sent to member of this group.

This must be similar to what has been done for the group "everyone".

The only place I can find something related to "everyone" is in the \var\qmail\control\badrctpto file. Do I need to add my internal groups here?

Rgds,
Jesper

As I search the forums, I see solutions that involve changing the properties of the databases controlling SME in a number of posts. I have often scoured the site looking for some sort of document which lists all these commands, what they do and the options that go with them. I have never suceeded.

Does such a document exist somewhere?  Sure would be very informative and useful.
