Topic: Spamassassin not working after update.

Hello,

I am using spamassassin on a 6.5rc1 box since a few days and last night it was auto updated.

The following updates have been downloaded and installed:
  - spamassassin-3.1.0-1.i386.rpm
  - spamassassin-tools-3.1.0-1.i386.rpm
  - perl-Mail-SpamAssassin-3.1.0-1.i386.rpm
  - sme-spamfilter-1.2.2-1.noarch.rpm

Now i get the next error send to me by cron :

Has anybody an idea howto repair this and get spam assassing working again?

You could try to re-run the updater again. Perhaps the updater failed. This should show in the log-file /var/log/USA.log, the update script is /usr/sbin/USA called in /etc/cron.d/USA.cron.

If that doesn't work, a re-install of Spamassassin should.

It was the rpm perl-Mail-SpamAssassin-3.1.0-1 that had to be installed manualy.
Found that in the log after running the update script.

Downloaded is and it seems that it is running normally now.
