I have by mistake erased the directories in /var/qmail/queue/remote.
I know you know this, but you shouldn't have done that!
Since then the server does not relay mail to the outside world.
Hardly surprising.
Apparently a tool called qmail-fix exist in the official Qmail RPM for RedHat
There is no official qmail RPM for RedHat.
but I could not find it in the SME Package.
Anybody has any idea how to restore the directory ?
I have recreated it manualy with correct permissions but it's no good.
What's no good about it? Or rather, how do you know it's no good, and what has lead you to believe it is no good?
Just re-installing the qmail RPM (you'll need to use --force) will recreate the queue directory with correct permissions, but maybe there's more than that.
