Topic: FTP connection aborted by host

Hi all,
     I've only recently begun running a SME machine. It is in Server Only mode. I wanted to use it to transfer large files to our other offices, like 300mb and greater using FTP but it hasn't worked well. I keep getting this error after a few minutes of downloading and then I have to resume. Is the server set to cut off FTP after a while or something? How can I fix this?
     Thanks in advance, here is the error we see after it disconnects from an FTP session:
     An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.
     Transfer failed.
