Topic: Installation hangs after reboot.......Help please

Hi Guys,
I have just downloaded sME and this is my first time to install it. The install ran smoothly to the point where it ejected the cdrom and then rebooted. On the reboot it hangs at the following point.

Initializing RT netlink Socket
apm: Bios version 1.2 flags 0x03 (DriverVersion 1.16)

Can any one help me?
I have checked the compatibility list and my network card is supported it is a compaq netelligent 10/100 TX PCI Intel UTP Controller.
Cyrix processor and 96mb ram

Could you describe the rest of your hardware?
maybe scsi cards, what else you have? the motherboard?

dont give up, but some times you have tu update the bios..
