Topic: Scrolling menu in server-manager panel ?

Hi,

For sure others must have ran into this before me, but I couldn't find anything on this site about it, so here it goes:

I have installed a few contribs that integrate in the server-manager panel. They work great. However, after installing the last one, I noticed that the one on the bottom of the menu is now left out of the menu (in my case sysmon). I suspect this is because the menu is not scrolling. Typing in the URL directly to sysmon still works, bit I would rather be able to access it from the server-manager panel, by having the menu scroll or so.

How can I do this ?

Which browser do you use? Firefox 1.0 and IE 6.0 both display a scroll bar in the server-manager here, when I make the browser window smaller.

Maybe the "noresize" affects your browser?

First off, I admit I never bothered to look in the html source.

I use IE6 and the left pane (the navigation pane) does not scroll on my system.

Haven't tried to use the browser in non-maximized size though, because it doesn't seem logical.

Well, got home and did some further investigation.

It seems there's something else going on.

Upon loading just the navigation page enough room is freed up to allow space for the link to the item gone missing (in my case sysmon).

And, when I downsize the whole browser menu scrollbars do appear, so with the scrolling nothing is wrong.

Silly me.

But why did sysmon disappear ?
It was there, but after installing another contrib (I think it was the printerqueue admin) it disappeared.

Well, now at least I know what to do on a rainy night with nothing on the tele

Because it's better to avoid confusion for other people I hereby admit to having made a very very very very stupid mistake !
The panel was there all the time, just not in the place I looked for it !
I even installed some more contribs, and they show up perfectly, with a scrolling left pane and all !

So, in order to avoid confusion for anyone else: nothing was wrong !

If you all will excuse me now, I will go find a rock to crawl under and hide !
